adminDid you know that if someone tells you to “go & cook yourself an egg”, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they think you are hungry and therefore order you to cook an egg!!
But if you hear this expression (which is a bit childish), this would mean that they want you to leave them alone, because they are annoyed by what you are saying … So, instead of saying ” laisse-moi tranquille” (leave me alone), they could say ” Va te faire cuire un oeuf” (Go and cook yourself an egg … 😉
