Thanks. That was a very useful video. I hadn’t come across the shortened version of ‘il y a’ i.e ‘y a’ before. In the case of ‘monde’, I have used ‘il y a du monde’ and ‘beucaoup de monde’, but never heard of ‘un monde’ used to refer to a large group of people. Much appreciated 🙂

When we speak fast, we often hear “y a ” and not “il y a” 🙂
